in the form of video!

In order to help patients understand and accept focused ultrasound ablation surgery (FUAS/HIFU) and promote this emerging technology, the International Society of Minimally Invasive and Virtual Surgery (ISMIVS), the National Engineering Research Center of Ultrasound Medicine (NERCUM) and its affiliated HIFU Training Center are co-organizing a science popularization contest called “Patient Education Campaign for Focused Ultrasound: Uterine Fibroids”.

The theme of this Campaign is to popularize the general knowledge of focused ultrasound for uterine fibroids in the form of video.

This Campaign is open to the medical workers engaged in FUAS/HIFU in mainland China.

Submission method:
Time: August 1st to August 31st, 2020
Method: Send the shooting video to fus@haifu.com.cn

Requirements for the videos are as follows:

1. The advantages of FUAS/HIFU shall be mentioned, e.g. contact-free, no cutting-open, no bleeding, non-invasive, quick recovery, safe and effective.

2. The uterine fibroid model set for the patient education shall be used during video-recording.

3. There shall be no professional errors or bad statements in the videos.

4. The video shall be within 5 minutes in length.

5. There is no limit to the number of participants in the video-making and no limit to the content of the video (communication with the patients, HIFU training of medical workers, discussions between medical workers, etc).

Awards:

One First Prize with an award worth about RMB 5,000

Two Second Prizes with an award worth about RMB 3,000

Three Third Prizes with an award worth about RMB 2,000

One Popularity Prize with an award worth about RMB 1,000

Several Participation Prizes with an award worth about RMB 200

二．活动对象

从事聚焦超声消融手术的医护人员

三．投稿征集

时间：8月1日至8月31日

方式：将拍摄视频发送至邮箱fus@haifu.com.cn

四．视频内容要求

1.参赛视频内容需提及聚焦超声消融手术的优势（如：非接触式手术、不开刀、不流血、无创伤、恢复快、安全有效）。

2.参赛视频需使用“子宫肌瘤病患宣教模型”。

3.参赛视频内容无专业性错误、无不良言论。

4.参赛视频时长：1-3分钟或（1-5分钟）。

5.视频内容形式、参与人员数量不限。

五．奖项设置

一等奖（1名），奖品价值5000元；

二等奖（2名），奖品价值3000元；

三等奖（3名），奖品价值2000元；

人气奖（1名），奖品价值1000元；

参与奖（若干），奖品价值200元。
